Storage box help

#1 Post by CDM5 »

I've got some solid brass hinges for the lid but the document states "Hinges rebated into lid and box".
Does this mean the hinge needs to be internal? Or just inlet into the wood?

Can anyone post a photo of the hinge set up on theirs.

Thanks

Search Google for diy black powder box.
There are some great plans out there with pictures and full instructions.

I used the plans on the reloading.org.uk website.
You can make up to two boxes not for profit or gain using the plans.

I made an loose inner lid and routed grooves for door type intumescent strip.

My local FEO was happy with the box.
