bp rifle

#1 Post by ballkeeper »

I have an Ardesa Ranger muzzle loading rifle. It's .45 calibre with an 8 groove 1:66 twist barrel. 28inch barrel

It's made to shoot .440 led ball, patched

Or instead of using .440 patched ball you could shoot .45 Lee REAL's through it. No patching and they work very well with either my 1:66 Ardesa Woodsman or my 1:24 Pedersoli. I'm currently using 35g of medium blackpowder

No idea, I've not chrono'd them. However they always hit the 25yd target where I've aimed the rifle.
