I visited a Ford Tri-Motor at the airfield in Camarillo today. Rides were $75 for 15 minutes so I passed. Great looking plane with a lot of history.

Nice.
I'd have felt the $75 in my pocket heating up by the second though!

Cracking opportunity, thanks for sharing.
Makes me think of Dirk Pitt :)
Had either one of these or the Fokker version fly over me in the Solent last year, great.

Beautiful plane, think I would have been tempted at that price although the name "TAT Airlines" does but me off somewhat!!!

But, yes, 75 bucks for a 15min flight is a bargain really.....bearing in mind, 10 years ago I paid 400 bucks for a 30 min flight in a B-17G Flying Fortress.

Re: Ford Tri-Motor
My parents took my son for a ride in something similar many years ago, apparently they had to use jump leads to get it going :)
