Trying to input pic all I get is something called URL and loads of unreadable graphics. Why can I not just download from my PC? Best not to bother all too complicated

Try uploading to a site like tinypics, just select image and select desired size and upload. Then copy and paste the image code.

Edit.....just noticed you using photobucket

Try getting rid of the bit before "http" on the image code.If that don't work on of the computer whizzes will be along in a bit

Save the picture on your desk top go to add a file at the bottom of your reply to the post. It's a simple job to add a photo from your PC you do not need photo bucket.

Whenever I try to add a pic straight from my devices album it always says the image is too big.

Just resize the picture to 640x480 . It literally takes me no more than 30 seconds to add a picture from my PC. It takes four clicks of the mouse to resize it and save it. I can never understand why people use the likes of photo bucket. I save all my pictures to my PC I can edit them and do what I like with them then attach them to a forum or whatever. I added pics to my post in the reloading section this morning. It took me longer to get the camera out than it did to import the pictures to the PC edit them crop them resize them then post them.
Easy peasy.
A good free program to use is irfanview.

main reason i use photobucket is that it stores the pictures too. so i can then access it wherever, plus i can then post picture on multiple forums. plus if i want to look at the pic in more detail, if people use photobucket you can do that, if you use the inline hosting, it is the size it is, theres nothing else you can do with it.

To the OP john, in photobucket, you have the 4 options on the side of the picture,

email, direct, HTML, and IMG. If you click on the IMG script, you can then paste that on here, and will display the picture. You don't need to do anything else to it. It looks like you copied the HTML code.

alternatively you could also use the 'direct' code, and paste that, adding [img] [/ img] tags
