Just picked up two of these Schmidt Rubin's immaculate bores 1889 . These are fantastic rifle's precision engineering. Just working out where to hang them
Anyone on the board who knows PHPBB3? We could do with a volunteer.

would you mind giving an idea of cost as I have a hankering for an 1889,1896 or 96/11Notsorich wrote:Just picked up two of these Schmidt Rubin's immaculate bores 1889 . These are fantastic rifle's precision engineering. Just working out where to hang them

they are shootable if you get them put on your FAC as the 7.5x55 case can be cut down and cast loads used .

they are 7.5x55 aren't they? or have I been feeding mine the wrong diet?
yes, but don't most still just use 7.bowl 55 brass as is, as per thiskennyc wrote:the 1989 use GP90, these are 7.5x53.5 (the clue is in the title of the thread)bradaz11 wrote:

edit this is the 7.5x53.5 GP90 not the modern 5.6x45 GP90 used in the current Sig STG90
It would be hell of a round if it was 7.5x535.....Although that long case would take some filling!bradaz11 wrote:kennyc wrote:the 1989 use GP90, these are 7.5x53.5 (the clue is in the title of the thread)bradaz11 wrote:
