Finished hand loading some ammo for my Carcano and decided I needed a neater method of taking the ammo and clips to the range - rather than dumping them in an old Minimi pouch. I dug out some MN ammo pouches I had - don't remember how or why I had them - and thought I'd give them a try. Good job I remembered I had them because the Carcano en-bloc clips fit perfectly!
108 rounds in 18 en-bloc clips ready to go!

Hi.
I read a post a while about some ranges don't allow magazines to be pre loaded before your ready to shoot?
Is this common on all ranges and would clips apply?
I only ask as I new and it's something I always thought would be ok to pre load a clip or magazine.
Thanks.

That'd be the magazine attached to the gun....as it'd mean being behind the firing point with a loaded gun. Not safe.GothicGhost wrote:Hi.

Stripper clips are ok as they're loading clips. A lot of ammo comes pre-loaded onto clips at the factory.
Some folk I know do bring loaded spare magazines, but not a huge time saving there.

Oh right I see.
I will double check my club rules when I go back.
But they seem to be pretty good on most stuff but safety first and all that.
Cheers.

Had that at the range I go to, think it was just the RCO's personal opinion as others seem not to care.GothicGhost wrote:Hi.
