12.7 x 44 obsolete?

#1 Post by Springfieldm6 »

Hello

I wonder if anyone could help on the following? I've seen a rather nice looking rolling block for sale on http://www.rimfiremagic.co.uk/obsolete-calibres.html
It's described as obsolete but I can't find 12.7 x 44 on the Home Office list of obsolete calibres - so does anyone know if it is obsolete or not? I would put one on my FAC anyway to shoot, but it would be handy being able to take it off and keep as an antique if it was not much good.

Regards

It is not listed in the Guide on Firearms Licensing Law dated April 2016 so best thing is contact your FEO who may have access to a more recent information.
