All calibres at ranges up to 100yds. Higher powered rifles need to be down-loaded. Anything goes with black powder.
34 covered firing points.

The Long Range Rifles branch of the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain (MLAGB) seeks to foster an interest in long range target shooting. Unlike the regional Branches of the MLAGB, the Long Range Rifles (LRR) Branch draws its membership from throughout the UK and also includes members from France, Holland and the USA.

Our members shoot muzzle loading percussion rifles at ranges usually commencing at 600 yards. The Branch organises its events to tie in with the MLAGB series of mid and long range National Rifle Championship Matches at Bisley. This enables a full weekend of shooting to be arranged incorporating a social meeting to exchange ideas and the holding of occasional informal lectures. Training shoots are held, and the match schedule includes the coveted Metford Trophy, fired at 1000, 1100 and 1200 yards.

Strathpeffer Rifle and Pistol Club.

25m Range at Millnain - half way between Dingwall and Strathpeffer.
We also use the range at Cawdor (100m - 600m) for the majority of our rifle shoots.

Hi Groper,
Do you shoot in the NESSC competitions? I'm in DRPC so we may have bumped into each other last year?
