Millnain Today

#1 Post by Sandgroper »

Had a great day helping Strathpeffer host 15 members (and families) of Inverness Bravehearts (Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland) to have a fun day shooting air rifles/pistols, 22lr rifles, centre fire lever action rifles and BP revolvers - which they all thoroughly enjoyed. In the end I was too busy to take any pictures until the end of the day when my son had his first go with a BP revolver...

He kept all six shots in the top half of a Fig 11 target at 25m and his grin all the way home! :good:

He's already started some none too subtle hinting that I should be adding a BP revolver to my FAC at my next variation... aaarggh

Sounds like a good event!

Out of interest, did your club approach the Inverness Bravehearts or did they approach the club about the guest day? Either way it's a good thing for a club to host!

Honestly I don't know, our Chairman asked for volunteers and my son and I were free to do so.

The Club Chairman is a member of the Bravehearts (He's had heart Op) that's how they organised the Guest day. (got to use up our 'Guest Day' allowance! ;)
