2 mile rifle

#1 Post by M99 »

Setting up the Barrett M99 today, fitted with a Tier One carbon fibre Barrett bipod. Ase Utra Dual 50 Moderator.
27 moa rail on the rifle.
40 moa unimount.
Bushnell 4.5-30×50 XRS FFP scope.
Tier one ACI
Hornady 750 A-max and a huge smile!

I can dial in to 2970 yards with this setup and use the reticule to 2 miles.
Or can switch in a 150 MOAB and dial in to over 4 5k! :-)

Hopefully the video works.

Shooting an average group size of .714" 5 shot groups at 100yds

Very cool! Sounds very quiet for a 50cal so I guess you're pretty happy with the sound mod. What shooting range were you at?

Looks like the 100m range at Minsterley Ranges, Shropshire.

As above, definitely Minsterley.

A shame I wasn't there as I'd have liked to have seen that impressive looking rifle :good:
