probably to double check their barrel is clean before popping in the next cartridge.
That was my thoughts too. Either that or just to look 'cool' lol If anything blowing moist breath into the barrel would create more fouling?

Fullbore is typically in the commonwealth games , and unfortunately is being canned from the 2022 games onwards.....so last time it will be contested is at the 2018 games.

Where did you get the 'onwards' bit from?
Although Durban (2022) are still resisting fullbore inclusion, the 2026 host hasn't been decided, so beyond 2022 is unknown.

You know the way it works. Once it is out it is out.

Its relative value against the cost to include is very low compared to potential replacement sports like speed knitting and a commonwealth games version of the "british bakeoff" !

....more chance of pro-celebrity cottaging getting approved than full-bore shooting returning.....if they cannot find enough people to form a British team they'll have to organise a cell-mates 11 side & give all the jailed BBC pervs & 70's pop-stars. temporary day release.

The IOC is committed to removing all cartridge based shooting sports with the 'final solution' being any that remains is air or laser based, and that includes the clay bashing.

This people is what happens when you allow your sport to be eroded by not sticking together.

Apparently someone wants me to sign a petition to protect grouse shooting! lol
