NLRC F-Class Training Weekend : 10, 11 and 12 February 2017

The NLRC F-Class Section is presenting a 3 day course for F-class shooters on 10, 11 and 12 February 2017.
The course is geared to introduce shooters of all levels into F-class by combining practical and theoretical knowledge.
Experienced international shooters will be advising and coaching in both the FTR and OPEN sections F-class.
Participants of 14 years or older are welcome to attend. The NLRC has an active Youth shooting programme.

COURSE Content Day by Day

DAY 1 : Friday 10 Feb 2017
Morning : Register, Welcome and Briefings
1. ZERO Confirmation (based on past experience the confirmation of Zero is a key step to avoid aggravation as well as reducing undue time delays and disruptions over the weekend
2. EQUIP Setup and Review
NOTE The morning slot is flexible to allow some participates travel and preparation time. We recommend you get there early as it will be a busy weekend.

AFTERNOON Lecture:
Part 1 : COURCES INTRO & F-CLASS RULES / PROCEDURES
Part 2 : SHOOTING PROCESS / GEAR SETUP
Late Joiners Zero

EVENING Lecture:
Part 1 : BASIC OF PLOTTING
Part 2 : PRACTICAL PLOTTING EXERCISE

DAY 2 : Saturday 11 Feb 2017
The attendees will be split into 2 Groups and alternate AM-PM between

SPLIT EVENT
Lecture : BALLISTIC INTRODUCTION & BASICS OF WIND READING
OR
Shoot @ 600 yards (Direct Coaching)

EVENING Lecture: RELOADING for F-Class

DAY 3 : Saturday 11 Feb 2017
All day both the AM and PM session will be on Stickledown range with a shoot at 1000 yards (Direct Coaching).
The focus on: Applying the Shooting techniques, plotting and wind reading.

ROUND COUNT : The round count for the whole event will be 120 rounds.

COSTS : Costs will be £100 per participant. This includes course material and handouts.
If you wish to ONLY attend the lectures and not take part in the shooting activities the cost will £50.
Food, drinks and accommodation are additional cost and will available from the NLRC club.

PAYMENT & CONFIRMATION : This is very important. To facilitate proper booking and costings we will ONLY accept Bank transfers with a Reference Number. If you do not Pay and Confirm a payment via e-mail we will not be able to track and register the attendees properly.
We have had to many people promise attendance in the past that do not commit and arrive resulting undue and unnecessary costs. BANKING DETAILS ON THE ENTRY FORM

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTIRES
The closing date for CONFIRMED payments is Thursday 2nd FEB 2017 at 22:00 cut off.

REQUIREMENTS / RIFLE AND AMMUNITION
Contact the organisers if you don’t have a FAC or Shooting Card from a Home Office approved club but wish to attend the course.

RIFLE AND AMMUNITION
Ideally you will have F-class compatible equipment.
For participants without the optimal gear the NLRC will have a basic FTR system available for use at a nominal usage rate.
For those without a FAC ammunition can be provided at a nominal cost.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
If you have the following equipment please bring it with
1. Rifle / scope / Bipod / Stand (F-Class appropriate with ammunition)
2. Shooting matt / Chair
3, Spotting scope and scope stand
4. Weather Writer, stationary and notepad
5. Wet weather gear / umbrella

ACCOMODATION and MEALS
The facilities of NLRC will be available for attendees. Rooms are available for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at a reasonable rate. The club will have the following catering available.
Friday : Lunch / Evening Meal and Bar facilities
Saturday : Breakfast / Lunch / Evening Meal and Bar facilities
Sunday Breakfast / Lunch / Bar facilities

BUMP..

Opportunity for some structured training and interaction with experienced F-Class shooters.

The Lectures cover topics applicable to all full bore shooting disciplines
