Thank you all for the good wishes and apologies for the late response but I am in Scotland where mobile phone coverage is unusual when it happens.

Despite the claims of some I did have some joy on the day spending some good time with my wife, including cake, which has been difficult with the builders and sundry trades being in over the past year and still banging and clattering away on my birthday.

Also got some hand loading done, all smokeless 44-40, 38-40, 22 hornet, 270 win so got stocked up for the range day on the Saturday and my trip north, nearly all gone now however.
