More like 24 hour setting time on a cold day which is why I make sure the workshop is warm as it can significantly reduce the setting time, as can an initial blast with a hair dryer however it should still take 4-6 hours to set and you still need to allow 24-48 hours for full cure.

Good job that shooters generally have a pre-disposition of patience.
The rifle won't get used generally during the week, so setting time won't be a problem.
