Home Bargains ones have a plastic stick also........the stick is thin walled and hollow and can be used to make a longer front sight post for a Mosin :good:

When I used to be a scaffolder I did a job (no pun intended!) at a sewage treatment works and there was a massive concrete tank where the raw sewage arrived and it had thousands of cotton buds floating in it.

We used to get all our Tomato plants from sewage works, handy places if you know anyone working there :good:
Those sewage farm cotton bud stems you will find get made into toothpicks lol

I want to know what people are doing with them that require them to be flushed..

Personally I clean guns/ears (not always in that order) then put them in the bin where I thought I was supposed to put rubbish.

People put all sorts down the bog cos they are too idle to bin it.
Some put things down the bog out of necessity though, like my mate who crapped himself in Seacroft Tesco's and flushed the "full" crackers down the pot, cleaned up, put his trousers back on and came back to work. lol

My Mrs buys these for applying makeup, they aren't cheap but they are perfect for cleaning inside receivers etc and more versatile that a standard cotton bud......

Seems like a painful and long-winded way of accumulating cleaning supplies.

Bizarre isn't it, I would've thought they'd float/be hard to flush too?? 5mith

Plastic of course.
Weird, the Tescos own brand I've seen a paper. I'll have to have another look, and a look at Lidls :good:
It says on the Tesco website that they are made of Polypropylene and Cotton.
