I'm fascinated by the name of one of the village names, Mavis Enderby..must go one day.

And its no good going to Lincolnshire if you are in a hurry, you will probably fall into a dyke and drown, some of them are enormous!

My brother lives just outside Spilsby on the main road to Boston, the nearest shop is 4 miles away, but the nearest pub is only a mile away. Its called, surprisingly, The Red Lion.

I must say I really like Lincolnshire, the more you go the better it gets. :good:

We are in the Wolds which is a tad bumpy, I was beating last week of the season and a lass with us had a fitness thing on her wrist, at the end of he day it said she walked 25000 paces which is OK however it also said she climbed the equivalent of 80 flights of stairs...

EDIT - Filled the car up this morning, a 16 mile round trip.

Lincolnshire is getting spoiled now though with the wind farmers and their fekking turbines. Fekkiin frackers will be next :bad:

Not in the Wolds, it is a designated area of outstanding beauty, we do not even have electricity pylons here.

That place came up on Google the other day when I was looking for a range.
Honest this was nothing to do with my search....

My first thought would be - 'difficult to milk I reckon'.
