I used to belong to CanadianGunNuts, but there were too many w*****s on there for my liking! The problem is, you can remain anonymous, but ramble on about things you have no clue about. And this 'group think' thing really bothers me as well. Anyway, I'm off to kick the cat.
Never take good advice, if you think you know better.

I joined CGN a couple of years ago as I have a few relatives over there (some who shoot) and used to be a fairly frequent visitor to Canada but was shocked by the rabid bile spewed by some! There seem to be a number of very anti British folks (well, anti anyone that doesnt have a maple leaf tattoo!) who will jump on any advise that you offer and try to belittle you-not used to that from the shooting community and not come across it to such an extent from other nations shooting forums that I visit!
Shame really as I never experienced anything of the like when I have been over there.

One of the reasons I like this forum (Other than working and living with the Viking) is the mostly laid back nature of the forum and its ability to self moderate, I would like to think F-B(UK) members are the sort of people I could happily sit down with over a coffee and have a chat with and this is usually confirmed when I meet members face to face. It is also the reason why I seldom post on other forums...

As a target shooter, I wanted to infiltrate your organization and steal all your secrets to becoming a world class shot!
There are a few characters on here and that's fine. Generally speaking, this is a very friendly forum, but as they say, shooters are the nicest people!
