Shooting Zombies

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Zombies? You need a shovel for that close up and personal touch ;)

Too much room required - a hand axe is better. In deference to Christel, if I had enough room to swing a shovel, then pass me the Dane axe instead. :D

Zombies - if you can't beat them, shoot them instead.

Sorry DM, but we've seem to have stolen your thread.

Ah Dane axe, there is a weapon meant for up close and personal destruction.

I still maintain the pump is the one to go for, after all it is the brain that needs destroying, preferably pulverised.

A rifle would not really do such a good job.

Zombies, always worth a good debate LOL.

Mentioned in another post....Buy your own zombie and plant it in the garden.

And if you want to shoot them I recommend a Marlin 1894 10 rounds in 1.7 Secs. Pumps are too slow.

Perhaps the Viking can move the Zombie posts over to save hijacking this thread any further and you two can have a proper zombie fest?

Yes please!

Out of curiosity, I got my son to try my Destroyer carbine for size. He shouldered it quite easily, as he handed it back to me, he asked, "Dad, can this be my Zombie gun?"

I said, "If the Zombies come you can shoot them with that!" His face lit up and then ran downstairs to tell Mum that he now has "his" own Zombie gun. That'll teach me!

If he saw that in the garden - I'd hate think what the result would be!
