Post "visit" wait.
Hi all, I'm a newby here, no doubt several million questions later etc etc
Anyway, I had my visit on the 12th May after putting my application in 7 weeks earlier, I was told it might take 14-16 weeks?
Just wondering if anyone has an idea on time scale as FEO said he's be putting my application in front of the boss after he'd left me?
I'm watching the mat for the postman daily and still nothing.....
I know I can ring them but thought I'd ask before I do that...
thanks

The above picture rather wittily sums it all up as far as I can tell. There appears no rhyme, reason or otherwise when dealing with processing times. Seeing as we're now paying for an enhanced service, you would think we should have service level agreements and the like in place, with a fiver back for every week late

I have a rifle waiting and the dealers and as we've all had to do it, getting tired of firing club guns with substandard factory ammo...oh well patience is a virtue as they say, Ive come this far...hehe

Northants can be great or diabolical, it's usually a flip of the coin as to the end experience. I had a recent one for one done in 2 weeks whilst a buddy's took 14 weeks.

The above picture of Dr Who is very relevant. Time is relative to those in authority
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

Anyway, back on topic. (yes I knew, couldn't resist) My wait was 2 weeks after the visit but each force is different - there are large variations across the country. YMMV as the like to say.

Well I called them today, apparently my application has been granted, but they are awaiting some paperwork? I think this was special "delayed for unknown reason" but anybodies guess?
