First rifle - some advice

New to the sport? Or just not sussed something out yet? Please ask your questions in here, there are many experienced shooters on the forum and someone will for sure come along and answer your question. This is a section for new shooters so if anyone can think of something please submit it.

Both a trigger job and a change of stock will improve grouping. You will notice the difference.

I still maintain the most accurate rifle I ever shot on .308 was an Armalon prepped Rem700, however that was a new trigger, blue printed and different barrel in the original stock.

The important part for me is good glass and a stable platform,, add these two into the equation and accuracy has to improve.

Savage make some very accurate rifles, always worth a look.
