A Big Thank You to Rob128 and the Full Bore Forum

#1 Post by j2112c »

Just quick thank you to everyone out there to say I came on the forum, I had a warm welcome, received some good advice and was PMd a local club to me by Rob128...

I popped down today, met up with Rob, he spent a full day letting me share his ammo and rifle. He advised me on all aspects of shooting, I learned so much today, it was simply a really great day out! I am now hooked! Roll on my full club membership and FAC. :0037:

So thanks to Rob for his time, patience, bottles of water and the offer of a sarnie with coffee!!! :D ..... and to the forum for being the source, it was a good internet find for me! :goodjob:

That is all... carry on. :goodjob: :0037:

Sounds like a brilliant day out and Rob provided the coffee as well, that has to be a good thing. Any pictures or a range report?

Sorry no pictures or range report, unless my beetroot red sun burned face and big grin counts!

The grin is the important thing :D

What a great result for the forum too. Laid the bait and hooked a new shooter.

Hope you realise it is addictive :good:

Thanks John...any time :good:

Took the 308win M24 A2 look alike over and shot at 100 and then 200 on Tony Morgan's range day at Rogiet.

Superb weather and great company...I'm sure John will be looking for a full-bore rifle soon.

Taught him everything I knew in 10 mins...unbelievable.

  8-)
