Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Had 4 or 5 orders of reloading bits (kit and bullets) off them, never had a problem.

Good site, and £4 delivery for any order (excl. Hazmat) is a bargain. How they make money off some of mine when I have 500 or 1000 cast bullets* in there is anyone's guess.

* Yes, by the time postage is considered they are about the cheapest for cast bullets.

Ordered some new cleaning and gunsmithing tools with them last week.
All arrived within 48 hours (which is a barging at only £4 postage)

Just now waiting for them to release a new catalogue (one can dream)

Visited Henry Krank again last Saturday it's pleasure going into the shop, but you need plenty of time, everyone behind the counter seems to have time for every customer no matter how mundane the enquiry or trivial the purchase. When I last ordered parts for my pietta Remington the delivery was late so the full cost was refunded.
I enjoy just going in for a browse no snottiness, or rush, great shop.

I enjoy visiting Kranks as well, downside is getting to the place as it involves a drive through Leeds for us. I am also amazed the front door is still on its hinges :)

Last time we called in they were all very stressy as TNT had just announced they would no longer ship expanding ammunition so they were seeing lots of trade customers.

I agree. I tend to go prepared. While browsing around the guns I heard a "are you ok there do you need any help?" rummages in pocket and pulls out a list, "yes."

"Ok, I'll shout when I've got it all together"

Carry on browsing, collect bag and then embark on the hellish drive home.
It was working when i left it...........

Well, I once said (probably on here) that I'd never visit Kranks again after being fleeced on the amount of targets that I bought once but.............
When I was after a gun rest/vise they came out cheaper than Ebay so I had to re-visit and the one I wanted was the only one left and was slightly damaged so a bid was made and I got it for 18 quid instead of 40 something :good:
The week after I made another visit to get some cleaning gear and stock up on a few different makes of rimfire ammo so I could see what the new rifle likes and lo and behold they were out of stock of 5 of the 6 brands I wanted to try but they kindly made it up with RWS match ammo for the same price as the cheap stuff so I could have a shoot :good:
Apparently, according to the man in Kranks there is a shortage of rimfire ammo (remmington mainly) due to some arse nipping in the states but its all moving again and shipments are coming in slowly but Kranks wont have any remmy rimfire till April wtf

The last time I was in Kranks a white lorry pulled up outside with a Police escort. The place filled up with Police armed response and they all disappeared out the back.
A Police man shut the door and would not let any body in. Once every one was served we were let out.
They then started loading all the hand gun stuff into the Lorry because it was now deemed to be illegal. I have not been back since. However I have ordered stuff on line.
