Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Update after trying several other US based companies to get the 2 small items I needed and being told do not ship outside of the US, I had to order from Brownells UK. Order made, & items paid for on the 5/2/15 message to say items shipped on the 11/2/15 after serveral calls to find out where my order was/is 21/2/15 told this is Brownells US problem "they are new to this" no they are not bought stuff direct before never been this long.
Today 26/2/15 Bl**dy great parcel force van turns up with my items in a small padded envelope, now I know why it cost £8+ postage.

7mm Rem Mag brass Brownells.com $38.99

http://www.brownells.com/reloading/bras ... 36705.aspx

7mm Rem Mag brass Brownells.co.uk £62.90

http://www.brownells.co.uk/epages/UK.sf ... /749006629

How do they work out their prices? Looking at a set of entrails? Because as an onlooker, this just seems fecking greedy. ****

Look at 6.8SPC brass (crappy Remington brand)
$29.99 - for 50 on the .com
£53.20 - for 50 on the uk.con site

The UK RRP for most Lapua Match brass is below that....
& the top quality makes in the US for 6.8 average $40-$45, per hundred!!

You're better off using the email form on their site - I usually get a reply within an hour or so.

Apart from them being very quick to reset my account when the login got messed up, as I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further.

I've just had a very positive experience of Brownells UK.
Ordered online and received from the US in 10 days.
Very reasonable price and I may now use them for more stuff as looking through their prices they are cheaper sometimes.
eg: Two 25rd S&W 15-22 mags £49.25 delivered. That is £20 cheaper than two other UK based suppliers!
