Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Roding Armoury

#1 Post by daman »

Visited these guys a month or so ago to get a crimp taken out of my shotgun mag.

Small, closed in little shop, but great service and reasonable conversation.

Bit far to travel regularly for me, but a good little gunsmiths that I'll doubtless use again.

:good:

My go to gunsmith when I need work doing, can be a bit pricey but cannot fault their work. Did you see the old Bentley a real gem.

I have used them, helpful, knowledgable and good stock of reloading kit.

I will use them again unlike some other shops I have been in.

I did a deal with them many years ago whereby I chopped in a Beretta 686 and a Britarms taget pistol, and got a new Hammerli 280 target pistol. They were very good to deal with back then and it's good to see them still in business. Are they still in that centuries old blacksmith shop?
Never take good advice, if you think you know better.

These guys are great, I've been dealing with them now for over 30 odd years. They always seem to have something interesting standing against the wall. I went to BSS back in Feb. and bought a rifle from up north and the dealers sent it straight to them without confirming first. The rifle was accepted and put on their books before transferring it to me, without any hassle.
Great job gents.
