We will have to arrange another date in the future at some point?

Or perhaps consider that the "forum shoots" are when people meet up at events such as Phoenix and shoot together?

We are very spread out in the country and I realise it is difficult to meet for that reason.

Shame its been cancelled, how many is enough for a forum shoot?

I haven't popped into this thread for a long time ( mainly because I wasn't up for it) I'm not surprised that it all gone tits up. I once muted the idea of a forum shoot on Gun Trader, to be held at Bisley. fair bit of interest. but when push came to shove I think it ended up with me and A,N. Other. 'The road to hell is paved with good intentions' is it not.

Christel if you are thinking of doing this again. ask those who are showing interest to stump up a modest.. (say £15) non returnable deposit, then you may get a true reflection of those who are genuinely up for it.

It is always going to be difficult to get something like this organised. We all have different lives with different issues, kids, work, health. In our case it was just too far for a day, couldn't really stay over.

If it ever happened at Bisley we would go if we had nothing else booked. That would put others in the situation we were in, maybe too far for a day and not able to stay over.

Never easy

That is why I suggested to have several forum shoots in different locations.

One at Bisley, one at Diggle and so on.
I do not know the venues in other parts of the country but I am sure they exist.

How about a shoot at Bisley when there is something else of interest on as well?

For example the HOG Rally or Hot Rod Rally in August?

Any time is good if it involves rifles and sunshine.
