I think he's referring to the scarce Lantac Sub-Raven.

We recently put some of that Winchester staynless stuff through a club semi auto. Still went bang!

Back in the 1970s, we had a club Mk4 Webley .22 revolver. Some of the rifle guys decided to have a pistol shoot and so they dug into their lockers to find all the old ammo that they had been hording for years. On the next pistol night, I opened the safe and the Webley was standing on a damp patch. The cylinder bores were red rust and dripping wet. The rifle guys claimed that the ammo was marked: "non-corrosive" and they had believed it.
