To close the thread...
I went for the Hawke 4-12x40.
Found one on another forum for £50 posted. Fitted it today but won't be able to try it out until the next club shoot.....
TX200HC .22, my one and only air rifle.
...I shoot mainly FAC these days....

Of those 2 pick hawke. I would rather spend more though as I replaced my hawke with an optisan, and have also just bought a vortex viper scope.

I would definitely take a Hawke. The newer ones have some great glass for the money.

Nikko Stirling are worth a look, too. They also offer good value for money, but not as good as the Hawke imho.
