New .22 Kriss AR15's coming to the UK

Shield will be bringing in some or all of the defiance rimfire AR series this year.

They look very tasty.

I remember disassembling a Krytac airsoft gun (Kriss airsoft division) some time ago and wondering if they were about to make rimfire rifles, the quality was stunning.

These new AR's will take any AR parts you want apart from the barrels which is where these rifles really shine. They can take any aftermarket 10/22 barrels!

The mags are the only sticking point I can see, I see only 15 rounders and not as nice as the smith mags.

It's great that they'll take 10/22 barrels, but won't work with Bentz chambered barrels like VQ due to how they feed.
That also excludes the target barrels from Ruger themselves and Green Mountain, etc.

The lower, due to the fitment of the bolt catch, won't allow you to run a .223 upper.

Pretty much, when I first heard of these I thought they'd be just the ticket, fluted Green mountain barrel or maybe a carbon fibre VQ barrel, but that's not on.

If they're cheap then it won't be so bad, but the word I'm hearing is same price as a CMMG/ST.

Coupled with not being able to use the lower with another upper, it would seem to!!!
