DSX high pressure dry lubes

JDR imports reloading goods to order and has a special interest in historical carbines and all forms of S1 pistols and revolvers.

We also supply everything to do with wet tumbling, with machines ranging from the Rebel 17 to the large, industrial-sized CRC units.

If it reduces friction, then it really should not be applied in a rifle chamber.
Where it might be of benefit is in the bolt lug raceways and the receiver.

No I don't agree. The same site (which is DSX's American distributor's site rather than the manufacturer's) says:

"Applying the Extreme Pressure Lube to the chamber assists in cold weather conditions to release spent cartridges (see below)."

Why would a reduction in friction in the chamber be a problem if you have a block/lugs/boltface or whatever holding the case in place? DSX doesn't stop the brass from making an effective seal, it simply makes the cartridge easier to extract. Surely that has to be a good thing, especially if tolerances are tight or your rifle has a problem chamber.
