GSG 1911

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Grab yourself some proper 1911 adjustable ones. The dovetail in the slide on the GSG is what's known as a "Novak" cut. Brownells gave them.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Yes thanks, £10 plus delivery for EACH of the front posts, or £24 for the set of five!

It's an adjustable set I'm after, but thanks

+1 for this... I put a Novak adjustable on mine... it was "tight " fit, and I actually had to take a fine file to the dovetail to get it to go in.

I have read that the "Kimber" cut is close to the GSG but not much offered compared to the Novak cut. And really, you should use Emory paper on the sight, rather than take active to the dovetail.

They're pretty cheap and cheerful (crap) imo. Ordered some new ones from Brownells UK thanks to the info in this thread.
