Walther Colt 1911 .22 pistol

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Walther Colt 1911 .22 pistol

#1 Post by darrenhyland »

This is my Walther Colt 1911 .22lr pistol. It has Israeli made RECOVER grips which improve both the look and the feel of the pistol as well as adding a rail to my Govt Model. I feed it CCI Stingers mostly and it is a reliable and reasonably accurate pistol to shoot............... i must add it is almost the same to hold as its bigger 45 brother............ it is a full size all metal design which is easy to strip and clean.

Just about to drop in an Ed Brown trigger kit to lighten the pull and skeletonise the hammer and trigger to improve looks.............. i will post pics hopefully over the weekend.............. the beauty of the Walther .22 1911 is that most parts from a standard .45 will work.
