A Non GSG / Low Mills 1911 - At Phoenix

Apart from 1911 'purists' (although I don't know how that is reconciled against the 12" barrel and coat hanger), I can't see why anyone would pay the extra money for either the Cactus Arms or Low Mill 1911. The guns are firing .22lr, not 9mm, 45ACP or any other of the chamberings that could put sufficient stress on the gun that would require them to be made of high grade steel etc.

I'm not having a go at anyone who has bought one, or thinking about it but I just don't know why you'd not buy a GSG, tons of mags and ammo, have it Cerakoted to any colour/pattern you want, buy a full competition rig and you still won't have spent the same amount of money.
