Mounting Red Dot on a GSG1911 Advice wanted

#1 Post by Nelly2014 »

I have been offered a Docter 3.5 moa mini red dot at a good price but I am not sure what mounting plate I need to make it fit. Also are mountings 'universal' or do you have to have a different one for each sight on the GSG?

If the bolts are either M4 or M3 then there's a very simple solution with the Vortex GSG 1911 Red Dot Mount.
Black Rifle - Firearms, Ammunition, Vortex Optics, MDT Chassis, AR-15 accessories and "go-faster" bits for your Smith and GSG 1911

So,
Will either of the versions fit the Docter?
