It came with the full kit for reloading including a bullet mould, sizing die and press.

Total was £650.

It's in excellent condition and came with a box of extras including bullets, powder, primers, extra 5 shot loading block, special priming tool, special kinetic hammer, Lee press, sizing die, bullet mould, special powder dispenser, special bullet seater and decapping press, fleece bag etc.

These pistols were designed to conform with international UIT pistol shooting rules, to allow us to still compete in UIT centrefire matches.

The UIT centrefire match comprises of 6 rounds of 5 shots, slow fire precision on the standard 25m pistol target for a maximum of 300 points, followed by 6 rounds of 5 shots duelling.

The duelling phase is targets face for 3 seconds then turn away for seven seconds. While the target is away the pistol is lowered to 45 degrees. Total 300 points.

All shot at 25 yards, one hand, open sights. Match total 600 points.

I had a chance to shoot my new pistol on Saturday, although in far from ideal conditions.
My local club had booked a bay on Melville (Bisley) range for an informal gallery shoot so I went equipped with several PL7 target centres, with the intention of giving my new muzzle loading target pistol a good try.
I haven’t shot on Melville for 3-4 months so was really surprised and disappointed to see that there are no 25 yard firing points now, only 50 yards. Yes, I know you can walk forward and shoot from half way down the range but it was tipping it down, the rest of the guys were happy to shoot rifles from under cover, and it’s not practical to shoot muzzle loader without a table.
Not to be put off, I decided to give it a go from 50 yards. To get to grips with the loading system and just to see about where the sights were set I loaded a block of five shots. I shot them into the sand bank and found the sight were not far off, just a little low.
I then loaded both blocks for 10 shots and proceeded to shoot a string on the target. To my amazement I managed to hit the PL7 target with all ten shots, true, it wasn’t a very tight group but 50 yards looks a long way away shooting one handed with open sights.
Second time around and another few clicks up on the sights I again managed all ten on the target with six going into a 5” group with 7 shots on the A4 target centre.
The pistol is a .32 Zylab Patriot. It’s a five shot muzzle loading pistol designed to comply with UIT international pistol shooting rules. It shoots a .32cal 98 grain wadcutter bullet with 1 grain of bullseye powder. The loading block takes five complete charges, loaded with a separate press using standard small pistol primers.
The block is inserted into the side of the pistol. The pistol is racked to cock and the block advances across the frame, one shot at a time. The UIT course of fire is 30 shots precision slow fire in strings of 5 then 30 shots duelling in strings of 5 shots. In the duelling phase the targets face you for 3 seconds then turn away for 7 seconds then repeat, the pistol is lowered to 45 degrees after every shot, plenty of time to re-cock the pistol while the target is away.



Standing one handed at 50 yards - black is 6" on an A4 sheet.

Are the loading blocks seperate on your fac similar to the cylinders in a revolver ?
