What about a larger slide release and mag bumpers?

Ok. That's a bit more promising then. I was planning on buying the lock to as I'd seen the gsg didn't fit. Maybe the smith didn't want to risk messing up the gsg release of stock replacements don't fit?

Just about no parts from Wilson or any of the other good aftermarket part makers will fit the GSG as a drop in part .
Believe me , I have tried .

What about sights, will Bomar or Ellison adjustable sights fit on a GSG slide? Or a CWA slide for that matter.

Can't speak to the sights as I've not tried them. The CWA slides fit though (they're specifically made for the GSG), but good luck getting one over here!

CWA do a sight set for the GSG, adjustable, I wouldn't have a non-adjustable rear sight on a target pistol.

Its a real genuine Edgar Bros GSG .

Tried Wilson ,S&A, ARE and a couple of other makes plus some genuine Colt parts and a few 1911 /1911A1 parts .
None will fit although some are closer to fitting than others , mainly as the measurments on the GSG seem to vary from one gun to another .
