what type of apocalypse?

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Over population certainly seems to be a central issue. It is my belief that we are already starting to see the beginnings of population thinning. Back in the 60s Kissinger produced a document on this subject. In theory he surmised that population control could be achieved using two key factors.. Diet and pharma. As nutrient rich food becomes more expensive and unhealthy options grow cheaper one has to wonder. Add to that millions that are taking multiple, dangerous daily meds (most due to lack of good diet and regular exercise) and you have an ideal scenario for pop reduction. Rather worryingly those that die young or become infertile will be the poorest. The rich will be in their ivory towers eating good food and counting the profits they made from their shares in pharmas and "healthcare"..

They will have to defend our local fresh water. Everyone is already after that. We do have more locally in liquid form, then anyplace else in the world.
Brazil, Canada and Russia have more fresh water than the US, 20% of the worlds fresh water is in Lake Baikal alone.

I think the escalation of a local conflict ie the Middle East poses the biggest threat. The other possible threat is the tons of weapons grade plutonium etc that has gone "missing" from former Soviet States over the years.
