Try cutting the hook off the hammer or the standard spring tweak.
I would read up before attempting to change the surfaces of the hammer notch as the last thing you want is a negative engagement situation. That would be dangerous with a loaded gun
Do proper research before attempting that one.

I will mate, ill do plenty of watching & reading before I go daft on the trigger, I nearly lost my bottle just polishing thing.
