Isn't it semi auto only and has it been around since ZZR was a kid in Africa?

The 22lr version of Thompson, the Model 1927A3, could fit the description but was apparently only made in semi auto.

However, it seems you could get full auto sears for a Squires Bingham 22lr that was similar to the PPS50, but I can't find any pictures at the moment.

The Pietta is the current incarnation of .22 PPSh - as Squires Bingham is not around anymore (as far as I can tell)

The S~B WERE made a full auto versions, plus an RFD in the North East was jailed for converting them to S.5 a couple of decades back

Nice guns. Used one a while back...just not seen one when I have the funds spare/free slot on FAC
Thanks for the heads up regarding the origin of the Pietta. :good:

I plink, therefore I shoot.
