Off the record, the Police and Club officials don't suspect there was anything wrong with the Rifle.rifle_nut wrote:Is there any more information on the Krags? I have three of them (one of each type). Does anyone know if this ban applys if using cast bullets at velocities below 1600fps?

Quite simply, the Shooter was suspended because nobody feels comfortable shooting along side him.
Don't own a Krag, but would have no hesitation, personally, in buying or shooting one.IMHO

Re: MOD Ranges - Urgent Safety Notice
According to Photo, Chamber disintegrated Bolt stayed in place Barrel seemed undamaged but separated from action.
Just my own observations from viewing Photo.
Shooter had eye damage, (not permanent), shooter next to him had head wound and onlooker behind still has metal imbedded in his arm.
