$2k in the States so even if we were allowed them over here that'd work out at least £2k. Could get a vz58 MARS for that -- or a straight pull vz and over 5k surplus 7.62x39 rounds.

Do you mean "another illegal gun we'll never see in the UK"?

Do a search for full-auto firearms, you'll find many that we won't see in the UK.

Actually had legislation been introduced following the Cumbrian shootings ACPO had planned to make .17RF a calibre that could be owned in semi-auto in this country. As no legislation was forthcoming there was no opportunity to make the change.
