A Tuesday at the range
Well gf was recovering from her first night shift ap I thought I'd nip down the range for a few hours and let her sleep
Targets are all a3. Shot from just over 10m double handed standing
350 genuine once fired 9mm cases anyone? :P
Fun afternoon. Got a couple more targets to take pics of at home
Sent from my mobile using "An application"

I dearly miss my P9S....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

It's a lovely gun, but I'm finding the trigger has a VERY light pull after reset, which has surprised me a few times.Sim G wrote:I dearly miss my P9S....

Nice, no revolvers. I am a semi auto fan but bought a S&W 686 a few months ago now it always goes to the range with me.

I'm not jealous, no, definitely not jealous... :)
Nice collection you have there. Has that Webley been re-blued and with new bakelite grips or has it been stashed away in cosmoline and wax paper? It looks immaculate. No, definitely not jealous...

Re: A Tuesday at the range
it's an Enfield mk2 no star, in 38-200 or more commonly called 38S&W, looks very similar to the older 455's, but is basically a scaled down version. before my research, when I saw the revolver I thought it was odd, but fell in love. I had no idea that they didn't use the 455's in ww2.
webley is next :)
it hasn't been refinished as far as we can tell, its more parkerised. and the grips are wooden, with 4 little notches cut in them top left side. It needed a few springs replacing on the latch, but other than that, it looks great
