Re: Zombie lanes introduced in Manchester
A joke, surely?............I've had a few near misses when they've stepped out in front of me when driving and cycling, and on one occasion nearly came to blows when a goon glued to his phone walked into me and had the temerity to suggest that I should "look where I was f****ng going..........."
I now have an ear-splitting Chinese electronic bike bell which instantly freezes the zombie and reduces it to tears, and has every dog for miles running to get away.

I've always wanted a lane system on footpaths in city centres;
Lane 1 - Time killers/ditherers/tourists/'students'/people with no concept of having something to do
Lane 2 - Female shoppers
Lane 3 - Male shoppers
Lane 4 - People trying to get out of the city

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

The male shopper lane would flow the best. Males are renound for getting in, buying it and getting out as quick as poss.
Females would swap lanes constantly due to indecisiveness

Regarding Lanes 3 and 4........the snowflakes would want 68 more lanes for all the other "gender identities" they have these days!!!.Blackstuff wrote:I've always wanted a lane system on footpaths in city centres;
