Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Donaldson’s Milton Keynes

#1 Post by Tallguy »

What a great shop and a knowledgable bunch of guys. Finally got my Section 1 ticket and rang them to see if they had the pump action I wanted in stock - they did. Jumped in the car and took along my old 682 Gold E to trade in. One shop local to me had offered £300 for the 682, Donaldsons offered me £800 without seeing it and confirmed that amount when I was at the shop. Did the paperwork whilst looking at other toys to fill the slots on my new certificate (I already had a S2 but got that made co-terminus).

Walked out with my new Benelli Nova Speed but managed to leave the box and accessories behind!

Rang them the next morning and went back for the box and bought a 22LR Ruger (used) and a few extra bits and bobs when I was there.

The guys were brilliant and happily showed me anything I wanted. Will return there when I come to buy my Creedmoor. Recommended and an absolute Aladdins cave of fun.

Are you OK? You seem overly negative today, I hope all is all right.

+1 for Donaldsons... and they do deliver upto 100 miles from MK..!!

I bought my last rifle from them, but didn't fancy the 3-4 hr round trip, so paid the £29.99 for them to bring it to me and fill in my FAC.

I don’t live in Milton Keynes, it’s an hour minimum of hard slog cross country driving for me to get there. But my local gun shop were so unhelpful and offered so little money for my trade in it was worth the journey and I discovered exactly what a good shop it is. I will return there. Soon. And spend more money with them.
