just shown at IWA shooting show in Nuremburg, the Benelli M2 SP, a factory tricked out M2, with large cocking handle, large bolt release button, extended mag tube (10 +1), extended chokes and the loading port opened up, plus ejection port smoothed out. only thing they havent done is fitted a welded up lifter, the chip fork thumb buster still fitted, so i would swop for a Taran Tactical stainless lifter and its ready to go !!

The M2 field with comfortech stock is best.
If you can acquire a 24" 8 shot field version with comfortech that is ideal as they often come up cheaper due to being S1 hence considered a 'one trick pony'. Then you don't need to get it changed to S1.

When you say 8 shot, do you mean the 7+1 FAC version that comes from the factory?

Yes I do. That's how mine started out but you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference from a shop custom-built now.
