Dear Chief Constabubble...

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Dear Chief Constabubble...

#1 Post by meles meles »

Dear Chief Constabubble,

I would like to apply for some changes to my FAC.

You have in the past been kind enough to allow me to collect a few bolt action battle rifles and a quantity of ammunition appropriate to test firing them. I also have a slightly more modern target rifle and some ammunition for regular practice with it. This, it seems, is not not enough. Our beloved leader, Mr Cameron, informs us that we are now subject to a clear, present and growing threat from numerous terrorist organisations sworn to overthrow our way of life. We are well aware that due to budgetary cuts, allied to a combination of incompetent and incoherent foreign policy and military over-stretch it is no longer the case that we can rely on the police or military to defend us and our families. We therefore feel we should play our part in the Big Society and thus are willing to play our part in the defence of self, family, neighbours and realm. In order to do this effectively, we respectfully request that we be granted the following variations:

1. Ten (10) 7.62 mm FN SLR
2. Ten (10) magazine fed, 12 bore, semi-automatic shotguns
3. Ten (10) M1911 .45 ACP pistols
4. Ten (10) .455 Webley revolvers
5. Four (4) 7.62 mm LMG
5. Two (2) 7.62 mm Vickers HMG

We wish also to increase our ammunition holding to:

6. 50,000 rounds of 7.62x51
7. 20,000 rounds of 12 bore ammunition
8. 10,000 rounds of 12 bore slug
9. 5,000 rounds of .45 ACP
10. 5,000 rounds of .455

Yours in respectful anticipation.

Your Chieftain (correct spelling, ooman) would need 120 mm calibre rounds ! It was equipped with the L11A5 120 mm rifle.

Would sir like a hernia with his Vickers, or does he have a swarthy bearer to assist him in his time of toil?
Careful now/that sort of thing
