Diameter of the Lee universal expander plug body 0.5615", depth of body 0.6425".

Here are some spud dimensions for one that I need for a 0.297" boolit as per the drawing I use.

A = 0.299"
B = 0.295"
C= 0.300"

BTW more of a taper on the point of the plug is better than that shown in Alpha1's photo, it helps entering the case mouth on the up stroke.

That is looking good, the step 'tween "A" and "B" diameters needs to be slightly radiused(?) rather than a sharp step.

What is the length of "A"?

1/10th of an inch would be good.

Not essential but a 1 1/2 degree taper for say 2 1/10ths of an inch from the top of the "A" section into the 0.561" diameter body would be real icing on the cake.

Right, made some alterations but not sure if they're correct.
I have the A section as rectangular, no taper, with a short taper/radius section between A and B, is this right?
The whole thing looks too long compared to the ones I've seen on the net, not sure if that makes a difference.

The step between A and B just needs the edge taking off doesn't need tapering as the step is necessary. Removing the edge slightly just helps the spud in the case and avoid the possibility of shaving brass.

the 1 1/2 degree taper should be on the 0.2007" part above the A section. That part is my addition and that is why it looks different.

Any clearer?

The section above A is tapered 1.5 degrees :D
I've shortened the section between A and B and it's tapered.

That is good, but the section between A and B doesn't want to be tapered it needs to be a 90 degree step with the edge just softened, if that is too fine an ask then it would be better square than tapered.
