lubricating dry ammo

I've just brought 2000 rounds of .22 ammo (Aquilla se) but it's different to the last lot with same name ( last was copper heads but this is plain lead) and doesn't seem to be lubricated and had a few FTF with my first few mags worth, so I'm wondering if I should lube it and if so with what?

The last time I had non lubed ammo I just sprayed it with wd40 and it seemed to work but I also have available a dry ptfe spray and some Lee liquid Alox.

Seriously, what are the chances of factory 22`s not being lubed?
They will be dry lubed with a very thin waxy coating.
Run your thumb nail over a bullet and you should get a sliver of lube.

If you want to lube your ammo try this , Lord Sheraton , Caretaker furniture polish with pure beeswax .
Its in a yellow and brown spray can . http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Lo ... y/17452011

Just hold the ammo up in the plastic tray out of the box and spray the bullets , put aside on a bit of paper till it sets then place back in box , job done .
