I think I get your drift. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to refer to the the cartridge as 'high velocity' rather than the rifle. I think most of us would probably agree that a cartridge that produces as in this case a MV of 3,300 fps is indeed 'high velocity cartridge'. where perhaps a .303 British at 2400fps might be described as medium velocity etc. Notwithstanding that, did you think that the article and film put over the necessity for deer management/culling?

I have just read this thread through again. I'm not sure what you mean by your response. Do you doubt the necessity for humane culling as described by Chris Howard? I was a little thrown by your use of a question mark at the end of your post. What wasn't too bad?

Jenks, I suspect he was referring to the article being ok as far as articles go.....I personally thought it was good 8 out of 10 from me.....
