My understanding was that blanks of up to 1" diameter were exempt from firearms legislation.

Lyden-Brown goes for sentencing today. He told me the jury cleared him of illegally possessing the antique shotgun.
He is expecting a 5 year stretch for unlawful possession of a short firearm contrary to section 5(1)aba. There were a lot of other charges against him that he didn't post on here. I tipped off his local paper and they should be publishing a report on the trial and the verdicts.

Oh, very much so. I don't have confirmed details of what he actually did/didn't plead guilty to, but the charge sheet was a side and a half of A4. For now let's just say he had a stash of things that he really should not have had without a certificate.
