Basic Survival Skill
I watched part one of BBC series 'Back In Time For Dinner' last night.

I ended up crying for laughter over their attempts to open a tin can at footage10:19. How can they not know how to use a tin opener? The final open tin is obviously not the one they started with.
We have a couple of 'Swing-away's' which I believe are the best going and among the back ups is a:
I wonder what they would have done with that and I can even open a tin without an opener, this works well:

Surely opening a tin is a basic skill everyone has? It must have been a set up.

I would refer the honourable gentleman to the popular television programme "the only way is Essex" and further suggest that, in the event of it being necessary, it would be referred to as "natural selection"

You will likely find that most of such "incidents" are contrived to make the series more watchable. It normally depends on what the agenda is.

The only things that comes out of "tins" in our house are either 54r or x39....
